Privacy Policy
Combora (iOS and Android) · Last updated: 16 October 2026
Combora is a block puzzle game published by Yoni Assouline, an individual developer based in Ashdod, Israel ("we"). This policy explains what data the game collects, why, and the choices you have. Contact: netayo26@gmail.com. You can also open this policy in the game (Settings > Privacy policy) and from its consent screen.
What we collect, and why
- Rewarded ads (Unity LevelPlay and ironSource Ads). The game shows ads only when you choose to watch one for a reward (for example to continue a run), but our ad partner's software starts with the game, and it receives your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking in Apple's prompt; on Android, the Google advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your phone's settings), information about the ads you see and tap, and technical performance data. This is used to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, and, if you allow it, to personalise ads. Unity's practices are described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
- Game statistics (our own). To improve the game, it sends anonymous gameplay statistics to our own server (hosted by Cloudflare): a random ID created by the game on your device (never linked to your name, email or advertising ID), the app version, phone model, operating system, language and country (derived from your IP address, which we do not store), and what happens in the game (modes played, runs, levels and rounds reached, scores, lucky charms bought, sold or rerolled, continues, tutorial, time played, rewarded ads watched, purchases by product, your privacy choices), and technical error reports (the error message, without personal data). We use them only to balance and fix the game, we do not share them with anyone, and we delete them after 13 months. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, they are sent only if you tap "Accept" on the screen shown at first launch; before you answer, nothing is sent and no ID is created. Elsewhere, they are on by default. Everywhere, you can turn them off at any time in the game: Settings > Anonymous stats.
- Game settings file. The game may read a small settings file from our website (hosted by Cloudflare) when it starts, so we can switch features on or off without an update. Nothing about you is sent with this request, and we keep no log of it.
- In-app purchases. Purchases (such as "No ads") are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment details.
- Your progress (unlocked lucky charms, best scores, settings) is stored only on your device.
We do not sell your data and we have no account system. Our only server stores the anonymous game statistics described above.
Every partner that receives data from the game (Unity and ironSource for ads, Cloudflare for our statistics server and website, Apple and Google for purchases) provides the same or equal protection of your data as stated in this policy.
Your choices
- Tracking (iOS): the game asks for permission before any cross-app tracking, with Apple's prompt shown after a short explanation screen (in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, right after you accept on the consent screen). You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or from the game: Settings > Personalized ads. Refusing does not change anything in the game.
- Advertising ID (Android): you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads at any time in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Google > Ads). This does not change anything in the game.
- Ad consent (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent to personalised ads and game statistics on first launch. "Refuse" works exactly like "Accept" for playing. You can change it at any time in the game: Settings > Personalized ads.
- Game statistics and error reports: turn them off at any time in the game: Settings > Anonymous stats. When they are off, nothing is sent and the events waiting on your device are deleted.
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the game.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its use. Since the game has no accounts, most data is held by our partners; email us and we will help you exercise your rights with them. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The game's content is suitable for everyone, but the game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
